OPERATING THEATRE
Our theatre is fully equipped to enable us to
perform a comprehensive range of sterile
surgical procedures.
These can vary from elective procedures such
as neutering (castration and speys), through to
caesarean operations, repair of internal injuries,
tumour removal, gastro-intestinal surgery and
orthopaedic operations which can include repairs
to fractures and complex joint surgery.
After admission to hospital, your pet will
undergo a pre-anaesthetic assessment before
being given appropriate pre-medications prior
to their operation. |

During surgery, your vet
will be supported by a
team of qualified nurses
who will monitor and
adjust the anaesthetic
with the help of
equipment such as
respiratory and blood
pressure monitors.
Post-operatively, your
pet's recovery continues
to be closely monitored
until they are discharged.
