Repeat prescriptions/food orders will be available for collection from the HOOK surgery. Please allow two working days for the processing of your request.
We are only able
to prescribe to animals under our care.
It is our policy to reassess an animal that requires repeat prescriptions at least every 6 months (individual cases may be different), when your pet will have a full health check and the medication is reviewed. This is necessary
to monitor your pet’s medical condition and ensure that the medication and dosage are still appropriate. |

This is also a legal requirement and a regulation by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
We realise that 6 monthly checks may seem frequent. However, your pet ages at a faster rate than humans. 6 months for us is equivalent to about three years in a dog and one to two years in a cat.
