For puppies. the time between 4 to 16 weeks
is an especially sensitive time when they learn
about their surroundings and not to be afraid of
them. Without socialisation puppies may become
unpredictable and afraid of people or other
dogs. They may become aggressive - a natural
response of a fearful dog.
To ensure that your puppy receives adequate
socialisation, we hold regular Puppy Parties
where they have a chance to interact with other
people and dogs. Parties are held in a controlled

environment and are great fun, very entertaining and often a degree of controlled
chaos occurs! A qualified nurse gives an informative talk about general training,
micro chipping, fleas, worms and neutering and answers any questions you may have.
We can also provide you with a list of puppy training classes held in the area.
This service is provided free and is held in the evening at our Hook Branch. Your
puppy must have had at least one vaccination and be under
16 weeks old.
