FLEAS
Many problems and diseases can be caused by fleas. They are the most common parasite
living
in the coats of dogs, cats and rabbits. To survive, fleas feed on the blood of
a pet, and
occasionally us! Flea bites cause irritation and discomfort and can lead to skin
disease. Fleas may
also infect your pet with a tapeworm.
The most common sign of infestation is the sight of adult fleas moving throughout
your pet's fur,
or the flea dirt often left on surfaces where your pet has been. However, there
are other invisible
signs as well - Immature egg larvae are distributed through our homes in carpets,
bedding, rugs
etc. - so it is imperative to treat the environment as well as your pet.

A female flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day
